PR Writing

This page is for PR330, a class were we are supposed to add to our website all of the PR design work we have done.

Marquette Kart Club Pamphlet Redesign:

As part of a design challenge, we were tasked with selecting a tri-fold pamphlet from a local organization and redesigning it to improve its visual appeal and clarity. I chose the Marquette Kart Club—an organization close to my heart as karting has always been a passion of mine. Their original pamphlet lacked energy and modern design, so I took the opportunity to reimagine it with a fresh layout, bold visuals, and cleaner typography.

Screen Time in Young Adults

This project focused on transforming research into a clear and engaging infographic. I chose to explore the topic of screen time among young adults, analyzing how technology use impacts daily habits, mental health, and productivity. The final design translates key data points into a visually compelling layout, making the information easy to digest and impactful for a broad audience.

Peninsular Solar

For this project, we were assigned Peninsular Solar and tasked with creating a fact sheet to inform potential buyers about solar panels. The goal was to present technical information in a clear, accessible, and visually appealing format that highlights the benefits of solar energy and encourages informed decision-making.

NMU United Conference Series

This project involved creating a media release PDF for Northern Michigan University’s United series—an ongoing program that features guest speakers, community discussions, and dinner events centered around inclusion, education, and cultural connection. The goal was to design a professional, easy-to-read layout that communicates key event details while reflecting the tone and purpose of the United initiative.

Student Organization Fundraising Tournament

This project involved designing promotional materials for a student organization fundraising tournament held on Wednesday, April 16. The event brought together various student orgs in a competitive and community-focused tournament, with all proceeds benefiting the Northern Lights Child Advocacy Center in Marquette. The design aimed to generate excitement, encourage participation, and highlight the charitable cause at the heart of the event.
